iye karenge woh karenge par karenge kya............?

its very easy to blame others for something which is very wrong.and even easier to say that agar hum hote toh aise karte hum hote toh waise karte.but how many of us have actually done anything?i remember one dialogue from the movie rang de basanti where one character says we will change things the way they are.we will get recruited in army.become i.a.s ,ips officer.make our country a better place to live in.may be most of the candidates who sits for all these exams have the same feeling or may be not.once i was talking to an aspiring ips officer and the only reason he doesnt want to go for his father's business and join public service was to get more power and more recognition.its a boost for youngsters to roam in ''lal batti ki gaari'',have people calling them sir.they completely forget the responsibility vested upon them.

no doubt they are the elite of the society but how any of them are not corrupt.its not that they dont want to stay clean its the system which makes them dirty.if anyone doesn't follow the prescribed path  it will b difficult for him to walk on that route again.

we all pay taxes and it really hurts when we see that the major part of our salary is going in the name of income tax and still we have such poor infrustructure.education.........................its such a country where a principal rapes a student and the governing body says we are investigating!

most of our ministers are either criminals or rapists or murderers.during elections everybody was screaming ''vote do vote do''lekin kisko dde?

we need a change from the peak till the base.we need someone who can shake our system up may be someone like netaji or bhagat singh...........we need another war for our independence.........independence from corruption independence from hopelessness independence from hypocresy thats surrounding us.

as indians we need to wake up and need to say enough is enough.

but its very easy when we say this on t.v. or when i write a blog.we can stir up a storm in cup of tea but even when its raining fire we run for shelter.

nothing is going to change cuz its too much to change something which is happening for sixty years.

so we should be contended saying iye karenge woh karenge par pata nahin kya karenge kaise karenge..........!

MY DREAM IS TO FLY..OH LIKE A RAINBOW SO HIGH!!!!

EVERYONE SAYS MY CHILDHOOD DREAM WAS TO BECOME AN AIR HOSTESS.BUT HOW MANY OF US HAVE ACTUALLY HEARED OF THIS CAREER OR HAD THIS CAREER OPTION WHEN WE WERE YOUNG?BY THE TIME WE UNDERSTAND THAT WE HAVE TO BECOME something whenWE GROW UP WE HEAR DIFFERENT WORDS LIKE DOCTOR,ENGINEER,IAS OFFICER IF NONE OF THESE THEN TEACHER.WHEN I FIRST HEARED these words I SWEAR I DID NOT KNOW ANY OF Their MEANING.
LIKE A VERY OBEDIENT DAUGHTER I WAS PREPARING TO GO ABROAD AND FINISH MY STUDIES THERE.BT WHEN MAN PROPOSES GOD DISPOSES AND SO I CHOSE TO JOIN AVIATION IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY HIGH SCHOOL.THERE WERE ARGUMENTS THEN EMOTIONAL ATYACHAR AND THE LAST RESORT TAKEN BY MY PARENTS WAS PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE.NOTHING ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ME.
I JOINED French CLASSES AFTER MY FINAL EXAMS ....I REMEMBER SOMEONE TELLING ME IT HELPS IN GETTING JOBS IN AIRLINES FASTER.THEN I JOINED FRANKFINN.FIVE YEARS BACK I PAID A FEES OF 75 GRANDS NOW IT SEEMS THE FEES HAS CROSSED OVER A LAKH.IT WAS a NICE EXPERIENCE,THERE Were A LOT OF THINGS WHICH I NEVER HEARED OF NOR DID I SEE BEFORE.
I DONT EVEN REMEMBER FINISHING THAT COURSE AND I GOT THROUGH WITH JET AIRWAYS.I FEEL BAD FOR MY FATHER.HIS MONEY was JUST WASTED.
I WENT TO MUMBAI TO START MY NEW JOB.FIRST THREE MONTHS IN ANY FULL SERVICE AIRLINE WOULD BE TRAINING MAINLY ON THEIR SERVICE AND THEIR AIRCRAFT.I WOULD RATHER SAY MY TRAINING PERIOD WAS INTERESTING.
FIRST DAY U ENTER THE TRAINING CENTRE AND U GET A DO AND DONT DO LIST.ITS ACTUALLY SCARY.WHich wOULD EXACTLY TELL U WAT UR SUPPOSED TO DO, WAT UR SUPPOSED TO SAY,HOW TO SIT WHERE TO SIT,HOW TO TALK, WHAT TO TALK!.........I CANT REMEMBER Though BUT MY FIRST DAY IN SCHOOL MUST HAVE THIS TORMENTING.BY THE END OF FIRST WEEK I WAS CURSING MYSELF TO JOIN THAT AIRLINE.IT WAS JUST LIKE SOMEONE WAS STANDING ON YOUR HEAD WITH A GUN AND TELLING YOU YOU TO DO SOMETHING THERE WAY OR ELSE THEY WILL KILL YOU!ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS INSTEAD OF GUN THEY WERE STANDING WITH TERMINATION LETTER AND INSTEAD OF SHOOTING IT WAS TERMINATION .
I FELT BAD FOR MY FATHER,I TOOK 50,000 FROM HIM AS MY SECURITY MONEY FOR JET,I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN ME FOR THAT THEY HAVE TO TAKE MONEY....!
ONE MONTH WAS GONE..IT WAS TIME TO ENTER SAFETY TRAINING...........THE MOMENT I ENTERED SAFETY DEPT IN CHEMTEX BUILDING IN POWAI I GOT CHILL RUNNING THROUGH MY SPINE.ITS THE EERIE FEELING WHEN U ENTER A CEMETERY IN THE MIDDLE OF a DARK NIGHT.
ONLY I KNOW HOW I MANAGED TO KEEP MYSELF TOGETHER FOR THE REST OF TWO MONTHS.LIFE WAS HARD AND OUR SAFETY MANAGER MADE IT HARDER..I STILL DONT KNOW WHY?
END OF TRAINING LIFE BEGINS FLYING CAREER.I WOULD VERY CONFIDENTLY SAY THE WORST PART OF MY LIFE WAS THE FIRST SIX MONTHS IN JET AIRWAYS.SENIORS WERE PATHETIC, THEY WERE CRUEL.I FOUND NO TRACE OF HUMANITY IN THEM.THEY WILL SHOUT AT ME FOR THE THINGS I WOULD NOT NOT KNOW THEY WILL SHOUT AT ME FOR THE THINGS I KNEW THEY WILL SHOUT AT ME FOR DOING SOMETHING WRONG THEY WILL SHOUT AT ME FOR DOING SOMETHING RIGHT.THEY WERE JUST TAKING THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING ''SENIORS''.MAY BE IT HAPPENED TO THEM AS WELL AND SO THE LEGACY CONTINUES!
AFTER FLYING FOR NEARLY A YEAR I TOOK A TRANSFER AND CAME BACK TO KOLKATA.FLYING OUT OF KOLKATA WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT AS I WAS A SENIOR OVER HERE.
I WORKED IN JET AIRWAYS FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS AND I THANKED MY CHILDHOOD BECAUSE FLYING WAS NOT MY ''CHILDHOOD DREAM''.
SOON AFTER I JOINED KINGFISHER.BUT HERE THE SITUATION WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT.THINGS WERE MUCH MORE AT EASE.PEOPLE WERE MUCH MORE RELAXED AND NOBODY REALLY HAD THE CONSTIPATED LOOK ON THEIR FACES.PEOPLE SEEMED A LOT MORE CIVILISED.OR MAY BE I STARTED SEEING THINGS DIFFERENTLY.I JOINED KFA As IN FLIGHT MANAGER PROBABLY THAT DESIGNATION MADE THINGS BETTER FOR ME.
we MOST OFTEN SEE ADDS ON AVIATION CAREER AND THE VIRTUAL WORLD IT CREATES.......BUT ITS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE REAL PICTURE.
MY DREAM IS TO FLY.....BUT HOW MANY HAS THE CALIBRE TO HAVE THE WINGS TO FLY....!

bangalore city................is it?

most of my life have been spent in two cities, kolkata and mumbai...one being too slow another faster than necessary.so when my company decided to shift me to Bangalore i was a little ecstatic.heard so much about this city....the entire city is like a garden.the only season it has is spring.this city has a natural air conditioning.people are humble and sweet.the crowed is cool......its a young city full of youngsters and a whole lot of place to hang around.
i landed in Bangalore on 28Th of February2008 around 4:30 pm in the evening.after i finished my work at the office i headed towards my hotel around 8:30 in the evening.surprisingly the roads were quiet and dark, with few cars moving here and there.shocking for a city who is an aspiring metro!..and where are the gardens..?
next day i had to go to work around 10 in the morning.my air conditioned room did not tell me the exact temperature outside.thinking of its natural air conditioning i wore a business suite only to feel claustrophobic later.the sun was pinching my skin and hammering my head, drinking the last drop of water out of my body.i would not say that my complexion was that of a snow white but now its not even of a black panther.
during my stay in the hotel i started looking for my accommodation.its not that difficult to find a place in a city like Bangalore where mostly all the household run with the money earned from paying guests.sometimes entire buildings are made in a structure of a ''p.g''.
as i mentioned before i come from a city called kolkata where the term deposit stands for one month's house rent in advance.in this starlet city it stands for 11 months....so if i take a 2 bhk apartment worth 15 grands i would have to shell out 1.65 lakhs just to rent a place.woohhh.......people are rich here.
talking about rich people.....are citizens of this place really rich or its just a show off.one and a half year of my life wasting here and i still couldn't make out.
things are exorbitantly expensive.and people are bearing that kind of expense sometimes with choice and sometimes out compulsions.if u don't have your vehicle and would like to travel in auto rickshaws be ready to burn your pocket.here meter starts with rs 14 which is like a wow... but the drivers would never go on meter.....''madam wahanse wapas khali aana parta hai''........maine tere auto ka theke leke rakha hai...!and to top that they have the audacity to refuse to go depending on their whims and fancies.some of them are lazy and some don't even have have the general decency to talk to a lady.there is no one to complain about them........they simply don't fear law.
speaking of law,in a city called Bangalore u would hardly find any traffic police on roads.the only time they are prominently visible is during weekends post 2300 hrs.that's the peak time to squeeze in money from suspecting drunkards.they will also be seen on the highways catching speeding vehicles and asking for bribe.the bribe money varies from vehicle to vehicle.if Ur riding a scooty its 100rs,for bikes its 150rs and for cars it starts from 500rs.this number grows along with the size of the car.
people..what do i say about the people living here........i have never seen so much of apathy in any human race before.no offence but people over here just don't seem to come out of their mental block.they would very proudly say on your face ''hindi nahi aata'' in hindi......are we fools....or they are just ignorant?people in rest of the India is talking about globalisation and think of world as a global village....whereas a very vital part of India don't even want to speak the most commonly used Indian language.
bangaloreans probably don't believe in the concept fellow citizens.........there is no warmth in this city at all.this place is life less.
talking about life ....have you hear ed something called night life?well if you are born and brought up in Bangalore or you have come here recently then possibility is such that you might be hearing it for the first time!i come from a city where night life starts at night.........after midnight the party begins......and here party shuts.by chance ur working late and after work want to distress and catch up on a couple of drinks......dude better luck next time.u call it a fast city.a growing city..blah blah blah blah.................................and it doesn't have a night life....''chee chee''.
its not that it doesn't have anything its has malls and ccds and malls and ccds.one or two mochas here and there.......................that comprises of'' lots of hang out places''.
once i was reading a blog on comparison between kolkata and Bangalore on orkut where the writer has openly disgraced other cities completely forgetting that his ''naturally beautiful '' Bangalore is not a paradise after all.
when people say'' Bangalore city''!!!...... i wonder ..............is it?

homosexuality.....not a crime

India is supposed to be conservative, ethnic country.but who labelled us so.if we go centuries back and peek a little it is clearly visible that ancient India the real India was much more liberal.caves of ajanta and Elora, sun temple of orissa is a living example.
it is certainly very heartening to see that our country has lost its individuality and blindly follows what others have preached and believe in others legacy.we often say we are proud of our culture and heritage but do we really understand what our culture is?before the establishment of ipc in 1860 there was no force applied on homosexuality and people from different places used to come to India and settle because of its liberal environment.but being gay was strongly frowned upon by Britishers who amended ipc 377 thus criminalising homosexuality.more than a century has passed since then and England is done with that kind of ridiculous law but India still sticks to its masters' whims and fancies!
what is wrong if two people love each other and want to be in the company of each other.its their personal preference.if i like a guy its my choice and the same way if i happen to like a girl and love her no one has the right to point a finger at me.
when i see people protesting for gay rights i don't know whether i am feeling happy that Indians are coming out of closet or claustrophobic as we are not allowed to be the way we want to be.we don't have to take out a rally if we have to breathe pure air,eat food or more interestingly get married to opposite sex then why we have have to go through so much of ordeal to establish our choices?
i have lot of friends who have come out in day light and bravely told the world about their choices and faced mockery extended up to the level of cruelty with a smiling face.people who supports the notion''going against the nature'' always brings out the aids issue........they have nothing else to say!if they are so much concerned about the spread of the deadly disease then they should first vandalise the brothels and make sure that infected blood is not transferred to any unconscious patient!
but do they have time time for that?they would rather hurl abuses to gays and lesbians than doing something to save our society from real menace.
the truth is we Indians are hypocrites!........its high time now that we stand in front of the mirror and evaluate character.
